StoryStar is operated by Roar Positivity Inc. ("we", "us"). StoryStar provides an AI-powered service to create personalized children's storybooks. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
2. Information we collect
- Account info: name, email, and authentication identifiers.
- Character info: photos, names, ages, and descriptions you upload to personalize books.
- Generated content: stories, illustrations, and books you create.
- Payment info: processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
- Usage data: device, browser, and basic analytics events to improve the product.
3. How we use your information
- To generate personalized stories and illustrations.
- To process orders, subscriptions, and print fulfillment.
- To provide customer support and important service notifications.
- To improve and secure the service.
4. Children's privacy
StoryStar is intended for use by parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Photos and names of children are uploaded by the adult account holder and used solely to generate the requested content.
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers required to operate StoryStar (e.g., cloud hosting, AI image generation, payment processing, and print fulfillment). We do not sell your data.
6. Data retention & your rights
You can delete your books, characters, and account at any time from Settings. To request a full data export or deletion, email us at hello@storystar.io.
